Hakuba Goryu Escal Plaza has ski rentals, cafes, ticket offices and the free ski shuttles. Shopping at Escal Plaza includes:

Escal Shop – Hakuba’s largest souvenir store and discover a wide range of Shinshu specialties, original Hakuba Goryu snacks and apparel, and everyday essentials in the convenience store section.

Burton Store – Newly renovated and transformed with the addition of the Burton Test Ride Center and a redesigned store layout. We offer an extensive range of products, from soft goods like outerwear, innerwear, knit caps, and gloves to hard goods such as boards, bindings, and boots.

Goryu Snow Gears – Has Goggles, gloves, neck warmers, beanies, helmets etc. They have everything you need to enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

Tune Up Shop 500 Mile – The tune up shop has you covered in many aspects. They accept any requests from binding adjustments to full tunes and board waxing. The shop also sells spare binding parts and other accessories such as boot inner soles.

Goryu Rentals – Discover a large inventory of rental equipment, featuring SALOMON skis and BURTON LTR snowboards. Sizes range from children’s gear to adult sizes, ensuring everyone in the family is covered.

 

“HAKUBA VALLEY” was the venue for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and today is an international mountain resort visited by many winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world who enjoy winter sports. From well-maintained slopes where beginners can relax and enjoy themselves to long cruising runs with a total distance of 8,000 m. Yes, you can purchase lift tickets online from this website Hakuba Valley Official Site. All mountain area passes, “Hakuba Valley Tickets” are available, as well as tickets for individual ski resorts.

(please note that for Jiigatake and Sanosaka ski resort, you will need to buy your tickets at the ticket center).

There are many great ski rental places in Hakuba Goryu. There are also many other places available in the village centre and transport can be arranged to assist you with getting to the stores.

Yes, there are many hot springs (Onsen) nearby.  Hakuba Village is famous for having interesting hot springs with six different sources such as Hakuba Shionomichi Onsen which was confined in fossa magna for over 25 million years and has water that changes into dark brown when exposed to air, and the Hakuba Happo Onsen which is a natural hydrogen hot spring. Visiting different hot springs will surely blow away your everyday fatigue. For details, please check out this page Hakuba Onsen.

Enjoying the hot springs (Onsen) is definitely a recommendation, but how about some indoor activities such as visiting the trapoline park, experiencing Japanese culture with workshops, shopping at the famous outdoor brand stores (Snow Peak, Northface, Patagonia, and etc.), and enjoying a relaxing time in lovely cafes and restaurants?

It is only available during the green season (April 1st – Nov 30th) our Villas have a garden set and a barbeque grill at the property. If you just need the BBQ grill, by cleaning it to its original state after use, you are free to use the BBQ grill set at the property. There are add-on options including cleaning, charcoal, a net etc, so please add the options in the comments section of your booking and we will be incontact with you regarding availability.
